Super Easy Super Tasty Hummus


How to make steps

Add all of the ingredients into the container of a blender or food processor. Pulse until the mixture is nice and smooth, stirring in between if needed. Add additional water to thin to the desired consistency and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and a handful of fresh cilantro, or if using infused oil add a few flakes of the real thing (i.e. grated lime, chili flakes fresh rosemary).


1 can (540mL) chickpeas, drained

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil plus extra to drizzle – option to amp it up is to use some infused olive oil such as lime, chili, rosemary etc.

3 tablespoons tahini

3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice or lime juice or combination

1/4 cup water or more, to thin

Pepper and sea salt to taste
